Sikkens paint technology gave the Nuna7 an aerodynamic edge as students from the Technical University Delft rolled to victory in this year’s World Solar Challenge, a 3000km race through the Australian outback.

Here, we’ve partnered with a young team following the latest developments in coatings technology. We think these materials can be used in the future on consumer vehicles. So for us, the Solar Challenge is more than a car race, it’s part of fulfilling our goal of staying ahead of the competition when it comes to finding more sustainable ways to paint the car.”
